Black screen

Hi while playing the battle yesterday i was having an issue my screen kept turning black for about 5 seconds and then coming back to the game, Ive never had this issue before only since i built my new computer. Its annoying and sometimes is unplayable, So im wondering if anyone else has had this issue before and knows a fix, Thanks.

My computer specs are listed below

i7 4790k
MSI Gaming 5 motherboard
GTX 980Ti
16GB RAM
Samsung 850 EVO SSD
WD Caviar blue hardisk
NZXT Kraken X61 cpu cooler
EVGA SuperNOVA G1 750W power supply

as of right now no i had to lower my gfx and [pick another word] i was able to get rid of the black screen but it freeze on me a few times

I've had the same problem. Didn't happen last battle day. So hopefully I've done something that's fixed it. I think it may have something to do with vsync as I've forced it on through JO's game.cfg recently to see if helped with this issue. Crossing my fingers it doesn't reoccur.

I had it too....with my 960GTX

By the way I have no clue why, but the game seems to play better with my older graphic card, than this
new one.

Still havnt found a fix for it. Sadly if i cannot find a fix i wont be able to play, Sometimes it is unplayable black screen every 10 seconds or so.

I have a GTX980 and I have the same problem.

1) Game freezes
2) Screen goes black or sometimes after a few times it even goes to desktop. Task manager shows Joint Ops is not responding. Ping indicator shows yellow or red ball.
3) After several times, I start losing graphics, building, trees then completely. Only thing that I can see is terrain and peoples name tags.
4) Have to reboot game to fix it.

I can sometimes play several maps before the issue appears.

Very frustrating. Can play SQUAD with no issue so it's a game compatibility issue.

It stil happens but also on public servers like CC's so I think it must
be a GPU problem instead of a server isue.

yo yo i can report this same issue with my GTX970, freezes randomly for about 4 to 5 secs, with either glitches in the graphics or total black screen then comes back and im either dead or warped a couple of meters further
