Financial:
Current balance is 334.31
Team speak will be due in March ($30.00) and June ($30.00)
Server has been paid for this month ($55.00) but is paid monthly.
Web hosting will be due in May ($100.00)
This means that we can continue through nearly June at the current rate. Beginning tournaments quickly is the key to keeping the finances solvent.
UN issues:
UN members are needed. Not just to run the tournament but also for the behind the scenes forum maintenance, server maintenance and financial obligations. Some of the founders are unable to commit to the time needed to maintain the tournament on a weekly basis.
The tournament will be unable to continue without more UN members actively serving.
Tournament issues:
Morph is also concerned about the juxtaposition of players complaining about playing repeated maps with the current tournament format of playing 4 maps for each battle with no reverses. This uses the map pool up at a fast rate leading to less time between maps being played in a campaign. It also leads to competitive disadvantage.
Morph expressed concerns over the current format of the tournament leading to competitive imbalance and loss of interest from some players.
